The Ark 501c3 Nonprofit Organization
History
The Ark began as a small marketing firm called Writers Corner. Writers Corner provided start-ups and existing firms with access to discounted design expertise, technical writing and training on municipal procurement practices.

It all began as a # 2 Pencil, gliding through the mind of an anxious six-year-old. What started as the basic desire to illustrate, transformed into what is now known today as The Ark.

The foundation of our company was built in 2011— 2013. Hosting 3 clients on 12 MB of data (not enough data to stream a movie) The Ark assisted in the acquisition of the following municipal contracts on behalf of CBO's in the Greater Bay Area:
1. Port of Oakland - appx $205,000.00
2. Alameda County Water Dept Zone 7
3. Los Angeles Metro - appx $36 Million
4. Los Angeles Housing Auth. - appx 1 Million
5. Newport Beach - appx $100,00.00
Accompanied by a portfolio of approximately 36 Million in business development dollars, we hit the ground running 2017. Add 14 Million more dollars to that figure. Word of mouth is our sole conduit for successes achieved thus far . To-date our portfolio in business development dollars stands at approximately 54 Million dispersed to minority owned business in seven years.

Did You Say.... 54 Million.... By Word of Mouth?
Yep, sure did. Let’s be real for a second. In todays’ economy, you don’t make that type of “Gwap” without a website and multiple social media campaigns. But with us holding your hand, anything is possible through the Ark's conglomerate.
